We Adore you, O Christ, and we praise you.
Because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world.
Jesus was weak and tired as He walked up the road to Calvary. After
Jesus began to carry the cross, it became very heavy on his shoulders and much too painful for His failing strength. Jesus fell to the ground under the weight of the cross. No one helped Him, and it seemed He would not be able to get up.
With courage, patience, and determination, He struggled to get up and continue His way to Calvary. He did this out of love for God and all of us.
PRAYER:
Dear Jesus, help me when my worries, anxieties, fears, and saddness weigh me down. Help me when I feel like giving up. Teach me to Your paitence, courage, and willpower. Amen.
