We Adore you, O Christ, and we praise you. Jesus was taken prisoner after being betrayed by his own apostle, Judas. Jesus was beaten and mocked by wearing a crown of thorns.
Jesus' enemies, who wanted Him to be put to death, brought Him to the governor, Pontius Pilate. Pontius Pilate sent Jesus to die on a cross.
The Son of God would die out of love for us and His Father.
Because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world.
PRAYER:
Dear Jesus, please teach me to forgive others. Help me love everyone, even my enemies. I want to be able to keep on loving and caring for people, even when they reject my beliefs and acts of kindness. Amen.
