DELAYED OPENING/EARLY CLOSING
On days when the opening of school is delayed due to inclement weather classes will begin at the following times.
        One hour delay-9:15 a.m. (faculty in at 8:45 a.m.)
        90-minute delay-9:45 a.m. (faculty in at 9:15 a.m.)
        2 hour delay-10:15 a.m. (faculty in at 9:45 a.m.)

In the event the school must be closed early, students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. There will be No After School Program. We will try and call all parents who have handed in an Emergency Contact Form that was sent home in December. If you did not receive this form, please call the school office and we will send home another copy. Only those parent’s who completed a form, will be called by room parents. In the event of inclement weather, parents are advised to use their discretion on whether or not to send your child to school due to the fact that weather conditions vary from town to town.

STUDENTS ARRIVING TO SCHOOL LATE
STUDENTS BEING PICKED UP LATE

Please be sure that children arrive to school by 8:15 a.m. not 8:30 a.m. We continue to have difficulty in having some children continually arrive late. Please know that coming late to school disrupts the classroom and children miss important information.

Please be sure that children are picked up from school by 3:00 p.m. If your child is not picked up by 3:00 p.m. he/she will be placed in the After School Program for a fee. If you come late to pick up your child and no one is in the office, please go to the door located on the first floor (driveway between school and church) and ring the doorbell to pick up your child. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

SAFETY REMINDER
FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD, PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF YOUR CHILD ON THE DRIVER’S SIDE OF THE CAR INTO THE STREET. PLEASE PULL UP TO THE SCHOOL WITH THE FRONT OF YOUR CAR FACED TOWARD WHALLEY AVENUE AND HAVE YOUR CHILD GET OUT OF THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR.

TUITION PAYMENTS
Some families are way behind in tuition payments. Please note that all 2006-07 tuition payments should be completed by March 2007 unless other arrangements were made previously. Letters will be coming home with outstanding tuition amounts. If tuition is not current and parents have not contacted us by the end of the second marking period, students will not be able to return to classes until payment is made.

God bless you,
Catherine Fiorino
Principal
